Membership FAQ’s

Who can join the Tennessee Association of Law Enforcement Analysts?

Professionals (sworn, non-sworn, or civilians) of any law enforcement, criminal justice entity or a member of an organization having a direct working relationship with law enforcement (if sponsored by a member of that law enforcement agency’s command staff).

Individuals associated with criminal justice, criminology, police science or related programs at colleges or universities; or other professionals and / or persons who deal with or are involved with the law enforcement community.  These individuals must be recommended by a full member of TALEA and must be approved by the Executive Board.

What are the types of Memberships available?

Full membership – Professionals (sworn, non-sworn, or civilians) of any law enforcement, criminal justice entity or a member of an organization having a direct working relationship with law enforcement (if sponsored by a member of that law enforcement agency’s command staff).

Associate membership – Individuals associated with criminal justice, criminology, police science or related programs at colleges or universities; or other professionals and / or persons who deal with or are involved with the law enforcement community.  These individuals must be recommended by a full member of TALEA and must be approved by the Executive Board.

 

How much does it cost?

Full Membership – $25.00 per year

Associate Membership – $25.00 per year

What are the beneifts of becoming a TALEA member?
  1. As a member you will receive a discounted price for the yearly Conference fee.
  2. As a member you will have access to resources for Analysts through this website.  As time goes we will continue to add resources that will benefit all Analysts.
  3. As a member you will have access to all member’s contact information.
  4. You will be eligible to run for the Executive Board positions every two years.
  5. You will have access to the TALEA Forum on this website that is just for members.
