Mr. Nick Nickles is a Senior Intelligence Research Specialist with the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) with over 30 years of combined Intelligence experience between Military Intelligence and Criminal Intelligence.
He retired from the United States Navy Reserves as a Lieutenant in 2012, after having served over 20-years as an Intelligence professional. He served on Active Duty during the Gulf War and was mobilized twice as a Reservist in support of Military Intelligence operations for the Kosovo Campaign and in the aftermath of 9/11. His military commands have included the Joint Intelligence Center for the Pacific in Pearl Harbor, the Tactical Support Center in Sigonella, Italy, and the Office of Naval Intelligence in Washington, DC.
He has been with ATF for 11-years and is the Senior Intelligence Research Specialist within the Nashville Field Division, covering the states of Tennessee and Alabama. He has been an instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, and has developed and implemented Standard Operating Procedures and training plans for the Crime Gun Intelligence Center. He has been recognized by ATF at a national award ceremony for his work in the field.
He has a BA in Management and Human Relations from Trevecca University, Nashville.
